We are seeking a dynamic and strategic manager to join our Business Unit Wind as Market Strategy & Business Development Manager. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing ENERCON's market approach, driving country-level growth strategies, and ensuring operational excellence across regions. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of engaging with senior leadership and presenting strategic insights to the board.
This position can be filled anywhere in Europe with an ENERCON office.
Your Tasks
• Strategic Governance & Project Management: Govern and steer strategic initiatives within the Business Unit and prepare and present strategic updates and recommendations to senior management and the board
• Market Strategy & Execution: Design and implement tailored country-specific strategies, including structured market entry and expansion approaches, and lead go-to-market initiatives and business development activities to drive growth
• Performance Tracking & Impact: Execute strategic plans with clear measures and monitor progress through defined KPIs to ensure measurable business impact
• Customer & External Engagement: Attend customer events and represent the company in face-to-customer and external engagements
• Strategic Product & Market Enablement: Shape strategic product and portfolio direction in alignment with market requirements and drive supply chain optimization, including localization initiatives to enhance competitiveness and cost efficiency
• Operational Excellence: Define and track operational milestones and KPIs (on-time, on-cost, on-quality) in close collaboration with Product Management and Supply Chain
• Organizational Alignment: Align regional organizational structures with market strategy to increase efficiency and enable scalable growth
Your Qualifications
• Proven experience in market strategy, business development, or strategic project leadership in in the energy or wind industry
• Background in business or strategy consulting is a plus
• Experience in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
• Fluency in English and German; additional languages (e.g.Spanish, French) are an asset
• Strong analytical and planning skills with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes
• Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and boards
• High level of empathy and emotional intelligence, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and foster collaboration
